About Palma Airport
The Palma de Mallorca Airport is also known as the
Son Sant Joan Airport or the Aeropuerto de Son Sant Joan
and is located at an 8-mile distance east of Palma,
Majorca, in Spain.
As the third largest airport in Spain after the Barajas
Airport in Madrid and Barcelona Airport, it is actually
among the busiest airports in Europe during the summer
months. As such, PMI registered a figure of 21.1 million
passengers in 2010. The airport is the main hub for Air
Europa, the Spanish carrier, and for Air Berlin.
With a surface of 2.4 square miles and two terminals and
due to the increasing number of passengers, the Palma de
Mallorca Airport added additional infrastructure.

Terminal A is used for domestic flights, while Terminals
B, C, and D are destined for international traffic,
summing a capacity of 25 million passengers. With future
